Dan has been active in student affairs for the past few years and was previously a student at UCCSU.  Dan’s interests lies in workers’ rights for students – especially in the area of pay and financial support. He is a graphic designer with a flair for digital media campaigning.  This is his second term of office.

The USI Vice President for Welfare is Cian Power, previously USI’s Vice President for the Southern Region.  Cian hails from Co Waterford but studied at UCC. Cian is a lover of pop-music and plays the ukulele in a professional capacity.

Siona Cahill hails from Longford and served in Maynooth Students’ Union as the Vice President for Welfare and Equality for two terms. Her passions include disability rights, repeal the 8th and she is an avid LGBTQ rights activist. Her claim to fame so far has been her great social media presence and creating the hashtag #MakeGraTheLaw.

Fergal, in his second term, is the President of NUS-USI, which places him on the Officer Board of the Union of Students in Ireland as Northern Area Officer, and the National Executive Committee of the UK National Union of Students.  He studied at Queen’s University Belfast and previously served as NUS-USI Deputy President.
