Third level students across Ireland are encouraged to participate in the world’s first LGBTI+ Youth Strategy being conducted by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs under the direction of Minister Katherine Zappone and chaired independently by journalist Una Mullally.
The Union of Students in Ireland along with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA), National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) and BelongTo, are promoting the event to young people between 15-24 to get involved and ensure they are part of shaping the LGBTI+ Youth Strategy for Ireland.
To participate in the consultations happening around the country, just contact your local Students’ Union welfare officer by email. All events are after 6pm apart from the National Dublin event, which will be during the day on Saturday May 13th. Register your interest now to your local SU Welfare officer, and further info will be sent to you in the coming week.
