The Union of Students in Ireland’s SUT+ will take place in Belfast on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17  August.

Registration on 16 August will begin at 10.30am

The training event is aimed at sabbatical officers in member Students’ Unions across the island of Ireland who have completed SUT training in Athlone and is primarily a simulation and active-learning event.  It will cover all aspects of work as an officer, from developing successful campaigns to developing quality, value-for-money campaigns.

This year there’s more emphasis on specialist training and skill development.

The package is exclusive to member unions.

Where and When?

Training will take place at QUBSU and accommodation will be at the nearby Queen’s Elms Halls of Residence. Registration for the event will take place at QUBSU at 10.30am.

There may be some accommodation available at Queen’s Elms Halls of Residence for the night preceding SUT+ – but this must be arranged by you and paid for on your arrival.


SUT+ is included in the price for SUT.  If you haven’t attended SUT this year, the price is €75.

When you sign up to the training, an invoice will be generated the next day, marked for the attention of the person signing up.

As usual, SUT+ package price includes accommodation, food and the whole training programme.

  • Active wear (we’re going to get a little physical)
  • A valid ID
  • Toiletteries
  • £ Sterling or ATM card which works in the UK.  (Any ATM card issued by an Irish bank will be fine)

Continuing with this booking will result in a booking - invoices for the training will be issued to an MO the working day following the completion of this form - and payments to the invoices must be made in any case by Monday 4th July 2016.
