The Union of Students in Ireland is committed to campaigning for equality in our society and for radical changes across our island. We need to listen to black people and people of colour. We can and must do better. We are committed to fighting racism within Higher Education Institutions and lobbying for policies and practices that support students of colour.

The Irish Network Against Racism (INAR) has a helpful pack on understanding racism which can be found here:

https://inar.ie/racism-in-ireland/learn-about-racism/

Want to report a racist incident? INAR also manages the ireport tool which allows the people, communities, and organisations to confidentially report racism in Ireland from any online device. This is used in data collection and regular INAR reports to lobby for better protection against racism.
