The Global Undergraduate Awards is currently accepting submissions to the 25 categories of its 2019 programme, open to all students in graduation years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The Union of Students in Ireland has criticised the new proposed loan scheme for students. It said it is unreasonable and will deter students from applying to college. Irish college fees are already the second highest in Europe.
