Levels of mental illness, mental distress and low well-being among students in higher education is increasing (IPPR 2017). 75% of adults with mental illness first experience symptoms before the age of 25. With peak onset from 18-25 (Kessler and Wang 2008). The Global Undergraduate Awards is currently accepting submissions to the 25 categories of its 2019 programme, open to all students in graduation years 2018, 2019 and 2020.
